How I work

I offer counselling to adults aged 18 and over, providing a warm, supportive space where you can explore whatever is bringing you to therapy.

The person centred approach is at the core of my   practice. This is based on the belief that everyone has the capacity to understand themselves and make     positive changes, when they are given the right        support. I walk alongside you with empathy and       authenticity, not to fix or direct, but to help you          reconnect with your own voice, values and sense of self. I offer understanding, compassion, insight and gentle challenge where helpful. To tailor therapy to your needs, I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches and  integrating other         perspectives and tools, when they feel appropriate and supportive of your goals.

Common areas I work with include:

* Navigating life transitions (career changes, becoming a parent, parenting challenges, relationships ending or changing, relocations)

* Self esteem and body image

* Decision-making and internal conflict

* Burnout and work-related stress

* Imposter syndrome and self-doubt

* Feeling  anxious, stuck or disconnected from life

A safe and collaborative space

I aim to create a relationship where you feel heard,    accepted and respected. Therapy is a collaborative process, whereby we will work together to make sense of your experiences in a way that feels manageable and meaningful for you. I work at your pace, recognising that change and understanding can take time. There is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready.

Whether you're here to contemplate a life change,     untangle a decision, reflect on a recent change or simply be heard, I will support you in understanding yourself more deeply so you can make choices that align with who you truly are.

Ways of working

I offer flexible ways of accessing counselling to suit  different needs and lifestyles:

Online counselling

Telephone sessions

We can discuss together which option feels most         comfortable and appropriate for you.

Sessions and fees

Sessions last 50 minutes.

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, get a sense of how I work and see whether I feel like the right fit for you.

The fee for counselling sessions is £60 per session

Concessions may be available — please feel free to enquire

Taking the first step

Starting counselling can feel daunting, and it is         important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose to work with. The introductory call is a chance to explore this without any obligation. If you decide to proceed, we can then agree together how we will work and what you hope to gain from therapy.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange an introductory call, please get in touch.
